Gentle Challenge: Aug ’18 – Week #4

All you have to do with this one is recline back and bask in the pose….

Week #4: Heart-opener on a block.

Instructions: Begin in a seated, L-shape position with your torso upright and legs across the mat. Place the yoga block behind you so that when you lie back, the block will be directly under your sternum. Best is to keep the block in its lowest position (i.e. flat) with the length of the block running along your spine. The pose should be comfortable, devoid of any pinching etc. One variation is to use a towel or piece of foam instead. A block or folded blanket can also be used to support the head. You main remain here as long as you wish.
