Overview

Some say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. No doubt, breakfast has come a long way in the last generation or so. There are numerous options and greater access to healthier choices – and some folks are quite creative in their breakfast menus.

Here we are simply asking, “What is it that you rely on to get you going in the morning?”

No, the answer is not java. We looking more for your trusted morning nutrition, whether that be a meal, small bite, or non-caffeinated beverage. The only caveat we request is that it be comprised of grains, or plants, or dairy / dairy alternative. Meat & caffeine free please. 

Outcome

We will (a) post your entires (kindly supply ingredients and instructions – photos welcomed) and (b) keep a running tally of all submissions.

  1. My favorite is an omelette. Love adding sautéed onion, peppers and tomatoes, then top with shredded cheese.
    My next fav is plain yogurt, berries and granola.
