Aside from teaching all month and being with you, I will be receiving mom at my house on Dec 23 and then she and I do our annual road trip to NY on Dec 26 to Dec 28. That is one of our regular getaways together. We drive, talk, visit family and friends, and it’s just a good one-on-one moment together…

Each year is different for me, but I do keep one tradition. I always make a batch of Molasses Ginger Snaps from my grandmother’s recipe.
Enjoying, Remembering, and seeing what is in front of me this holiday season. Re-centering post semester and work. Getting back to the routine that works best for me. Smiling.
