Ode to Thursday’s Yoga Challenge
This one comes to us from Nancy Bateman who readily shares of her class experience…
Ode to Thursday’s Yoga Challenge
No mercy does he cut you
Nor give you any slack
It doesn’t matter if you’re eight-two
Or have an aching back
Pregnancy no hindrance
To the perfect crow pose
Chaturaunga dandasana
On and on it goes
Only the best does he expect
From each and every one
From simple to hard, easy to complex
He makes the poses fun
Way too difficult we think it is
But yet we try once more
Until the time it actually works
And we are off the floor
Thank you so much, Satyam dear
From us you’ve taught so much
All the instruction throughout the years
You have the perfect touch
Here below we share with you a few pictures of Nancy from our vault – and here are more poems from this month’s Poetry Challenge.
Wonderful! We should recite this as our mantras!
great poem! very accurate!
You hit it right on!
Nancy, You’re an inspiration with your sense of adventure and courage to try new experiences!
