Nitro’s Progress Report: March 2019
Here is his March report – a link to his past reports is appended below…
Nitro has progressed the tug behavior and can open heavy doors and drawers. He has also been picking up more challenging objects and delivering them to the handler in a visit, step, or lap command. He is overall a willing and responsible worker. On a public outing to a train station he was occasionally distracted by the environment and would lose handler focus. He was mostly responsive and was calm around the sights and sounds of the train. On a separate trip nitro was wiggly but appropriate when greeting a patron. In grooming, he continues to show occasional discomfort with nail trimming.
