The yogic view of the universe is based on oneness: the interconnectedness of all manifested beings and objects in this cosmos. While this concept holds great beauty, wonder, and awe, it also comes with a deep sense of responsibility and empowerment. Indeed, within this cosmological order, human beings play a very special role. And it all starts with gaining a tangible and practical understanding of oneness. As we develop a clearer understanding and more tangible realization of this, we may completely rethink our own concept of self as well as our relationship with the world around us.
