Abs Challenge #5 – Podcast

Here it is(!) – the Abs Challenge #5 – please find the podcast below. This is an intense practice with lots of core work and strength conditioning – and it opens with deep stretches for the gluts & hips.

Here below Heather demos the opening pose. From there the practice mounts into a challenging abs and core endeavor – will arm strengthening poses as well.

Here is the sequence for this practice:

Mountain pose -> 1/2 chair pose against the wall -> makarasana (prone position) -> shalabasana (grasshopper) several variations -> upward dog -> downward dog -> plank -> side plank -> 3-point downward dog -> 3-point plank -> dolphin plank -> wide angle dolphin plank variations -> plank (hold) -> down dog -> table -> supine -> core roll-ups – bridge pose -> rope climb -> floating bound angle -> happy baby pose -> shavasana
