This is my favorite photo from my and Sammy’s recent trip to Hawaii. My mother, brother, and I hiked to the top of Diamond Head crater one morning, despite the threat of rain. It poured on the inland, mountain side of the island (seen to the right of this image), but also created the incredible rainbow seen over the ocean on the left. I suppose if I were to name this photo, it might be “Yin and Yang”. From this vantage point, we can see the duality of nature.

Hint: It is definitely worth clicking on the photo to enlarge it. Stephanie sent this as a large file so it expands very nicely – crystal clear.

Thank you so much for sharing this stunning view (landscape / seascape) with us – kinda makes me wonder why I’ve never been to Hawaii!!!
