Terps Training - RenYoga

Last week we posted about our latest training session with the University of Maryland’s Track and Field Team.

Coach Valmon just sent this video “Terps Training: Balance, Speed, Agility, Strength” featuring their various training and cross-training endeavors. Many scenes from our yoga session are presented in the video. And, on the whole, this video is inspiring and gives a look into the intensity and precision of athletic training at a top-level Division I school. Coach Valmon himself won a gold medal at the 1992 Olympics (Barcelona, Spain) in the 4 x 400 relay.

Yoga has been widely embraced as an essential avenue for physical and mental development of top athletes – on all levels. Wonderful to be part of the transformation in elite athletic preparedness and training.
