A Good Night’s Rest:
The Yogic Science of Sleeping
A sound night’s sleep does the body good. Indeed, sleep is vital to our overall well-being: Physically, psychically, emotionally, and spiritually. Sleep brings restoration in all realms of life.
In this seminar we will explore the yogic science of sleeping: How to prepare both mind and body for a deep state of rest. We shall review the “nuts & bolts” – the practical aspects – for getting a good night’s sleep. Plus we will investigate the functioning of mind and what we can do in day-to-day life to calm the mind and promote deeper sleep.
This is a seminar for everyone – prior yoga experience is not required – all are welcome.
Note: Handouts will be given; bring a pen or tablet etc. Bring a water bottle; dress comfortably.
Sun, Nov 15, 2p – 4:30p; Tuition: $35
