I am spending time snapping photos of the 40 winks my cats, Pearl and Spud, are catching on a daily basis.

So my husband’s 70th Birthday was Saturday April 11th! Clearly, we could not have a family celebration given the current quarantine restrictions – So, we did the next best thing : A Zoom Birthday Party!I invited all to prepare Bill’s favorite dinner in their own kitchens: Spaghetti. Bill is a Chinese language / history / geography aficionado – and so I researched ’70 year old men ‘ / Chinese proverbs – and apparently at the age of 71 – (He’s now considered such, since he’ s in his 71st year) – learned that a septuagenarian is entitled to wear a hat w/ a copper button – So , I was on the hunt …Once I had the chapeau, attaching the honorary button – I decided Bill looked a bit like the ‘ Mad Hatter’ so decided to complete the ensemble 🙂 Time ran out – or I certainly would have become his ‘ Queen of Hearts ‘ — But, after 47yrs of marriage, I think I may already be…Neighbors – 3 hours into their ‘ happy hour’ clearly thought we’d lost it! 🙂 But, it was special and memorable – and created a smile in our hearts, during this very difficult time in the world ~

I am well, thank you and I am so grateful to have Endeavor available for this weird “distancing” time. I am surrounded by David’s love here and spend time every day answering lovely emails from our many friends acquired during our cruising (or resting) phases.I am also enjoying a brisk 2 mile walk briskly every day 🤗🤞and try to stretch but the lack of floor space hinders me, along with my complete lack of discipline. I am sleeping well thankfully and I am still happy to be me.Like Farrell says: I feel like I know what happiness is to me, and that’s that happiness is the truth.

My family is keeping busy with all kinds of activities. We have done 5 puzzles. Amber and I have made soap. And I have been making masks for the health center.

Trying to work around the cat. He likes to watch the screen when I type. Tried locking him out of the office, but my husband is on conference calls and he howls at the door.

Family trail ride. Renegade son decides to ride his mountain bike instead of his horse. Lol. This time is scary but allows us to be together and outside together more.

Gettin to know each other……
Note: This is Tina’s new pup, Finn. As you may recall, while in Maryland Tina raised two service dogs, Liam and Nitro, both of whom are now on their respective assignments. But Finn is not a service dog, rather the new family pet. Here he is meeting Luna, who was “raised” with both Liam and Nitro. So Luna is well-acquainted with labs and is a champion dog wrestler.
Luna Wrestling Nitro (photos & video) = If you only watch one, this is Luna’s top recommendation!!

Bella stays right with us
Note: in the below photo, there is not one dog, but two. The second dog, Coco, is in her doggie bed with overturned chairs all around her to hide and protect her from the hawks overhead!!
