A & K Do Yoga in the Adirondacks
Just back from their week in the wilderness – along with their entire gang – Annie and Kirk share some neat yoga pics from their trip to Saranac Lake in the Adirondacks (NY):
In this below restorative pose, Kirk really looks like he is one with the cosmos…
Ahhh, victory, to the top as they say!! Always nice to reach the summit – in any sphere of life. Annie writes, “We ended up climbing what is considered one of the 5 hardest trails in the Adirondacks, Ampersand Mountain.”
Here below is Elephant Rock from their hike into Ausable Chasm…
Thanks for sharing these wonderful pics – they are a breath of fresh air – literally!!
Addendum July 21, 2014: Here is one more photo that just arrived…Here we have the team atop Little Whiteface Mountain (Lake Placid, NY. ) Back row: Kirk, Claire ( Lisa’s daughter), Lisa; Back row: Sharon ( my brothers wife), me, cousins Barb and Judy. According to Annie, this photo was taken: “In honor of the yoga teacher.”
These are beautiful pictures, Annie and Kirk! Looks like a challenging hike, but worth it for those views! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, Liz, I was so happy to be able to make the climb!
