The food we eat becomes the cells we have – though, true enough, our cells are also the outcome of the water we drink, the air we breathe, the light we get, and the thoughts we think. Here though our focus is on food, and in particular shopping. Because unless we are growing the large majority of our food, then the shopping we do becomes the food we eat. So shopping is important.
The below graphic – compliments of the web universe – offers some solid tips for shopping in a healthy, conscious manner. I know one of the key points for me is to have the right food prepared ahead of time – then my hunger will be fulfilled by a nutritious, tasty meal, and I will not give way to quick-fix snacking etc.
